Environmental Club of Uttaranchal University, Eco- cops: “The home
of Eco Warriors” held an investiture ceremony to recognize the efforts of
student office bearers of the club. The ceremony was held on 28 March 2023.
Executive Director, Prof. (Dr.) Abhishek Joshi was the chief guest
for the occasion and Vice-Chancellor, Prof.(Dr.) Dharam Buddhi was the guest of
honour.
Executive Director and Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Dharam Buddhi appreciated the efforts of student coordinators for conducting events organized under the eco-club with great enthusiasm. In his address, the President of Eco club Prof. (Dr). Ajay Singh stressed the need to work for creating awareness regarding the environment amongst the students of the University.
The office bearers were elated by the batches given to them and promised to work hard and become eco-cops of the University. On the occasion Prof. (Dr.) Bharti Ramola, Vice- President, Dr. Madhu Kirola, Coordinator, and faculty coordinators of various schools of Uttaranchal University along with all student coordinators and office bearers and a large number of eco-cops were present.
