The Semester commencement meet session 2024-2025 was held at Swami Vivekanand Auditorium, Uttaranchal University organized by Human Resource Development Centre, Uttaranchal University.
The Semester Commencement Meet (SCM) was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Shri Jitender Joshi, the President of Uttaranchal University along with Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi Vice- Chancellor, Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice-Chancellor, All the Deans and Directors with the auspicious lighting of the lamp followed by University Kulgeet.
Shri Jitender Joshi blessed the faculty members of the University. He emphasised Quality Education, teaching-learning through innovation. Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi, Vice- Chancellor shared his insight on SCM and expressed his expectation, to make the University a Ragging-free campus. He said faculty members should work hard to transform the lives of students with the spirit of Nation-building. Prof Rajesh Bahuguna motivated the faculty members with his ought-provoking speech guiding their roles as educators.
Er Rajesh Deorari, Director IQAC addressed the SCM attendees by his presentation on topic “Transformative Reforms in NAAC accreditation - 2024”. Resource persons Dr Satvinder Kaur & Dr Bushra gave presentation on “Basic Life Support Techniques”.
Mr Arun Godiyal, Director, Corporate Resource Centre stated that student-faculty coordination for placement is very important. He also talked on placement Guide in collaboration with Industry. Mr. Saurav Badoni Advisor, Uttaranchal University emphasised on the support of Alumni for student’s placement.
The formal vote of thanks was proposed by Prof (Dr) Anil Kumar Dixit, coordinator HRDC. Over 300 faculty members attended SCM, the event was moderated by Ms Ritu Baluni. The Dignitaries present were Prof (Dr) Shravan Kumar, DSW, Prof Poonam Rawat, Prof Ajai Singh, Prof Sumit Choudhary, Prof Sonal Sharma, Dr Manish Badoni, Prof Pradeep Suri, Prof Mahipal Singh, Dr Amit Bhatt, Prof Vikas Jakhmola, HOD of various departments. The Event concluded with the National Anthem.
