MOSAIC, the cultural club of the School of Liberal Arts, joyously celebrated its cultural program, "Sanskriti Sangam: The Cultural Tapestry," on the 20th of October 2023. This event was a remarkable fusion of diverse cultures from India and neighbouring countries, making it a vibrant and memorable experience for all who attended.
Ms Jyotsna Suyal, Assistant Professor- Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Ms Paridhi Joshi, Assistant Professor- SLA were present as the chief judges for the event. To mark this momentous occasion, the president of the MOSAIC club, Ms Maneesha Negi welcomed the judges with a beautiful welcome flower bouquet, expressing gratitude for their valuable presence.
A highlight of the event was the eight vibrant stalls representing distinct states and countries: Uttarakhand, Manipur, Nepal, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Maharashtra, and Kashmir.
The judges for the event were immensely impressed by the efforts and creativity displayed by each participating team.
As the event ended, the audience eagerly awaited the announcement of the winning team. The Manipur team bagged the first position (Team Members: Vernetta, Jamuna, Hennapriya, and Mahesh). The event was coordinated by Ms Pragya Malla.
